"The dating of this could be a bit wonky; I believe it's a rip of the 1990 CD release, which was taken from the 1958 LP released on Partch's own label, and is a recording of the first performance of the "dance satire" that took place at the University of Illinois' Champaign-Urbana campus on March 26, 1957. It's a total joy to dig in deep, but remember to stay mindful kiddies! The scale is boggling and brain haemorrhaging is likely, so dream on fuddy duddies and dig that wailin' groove!" - DD
